Writing this from LAX, about to board a flight to Tokyo.
My last long international flight was 5 years ago when I flew to South Africa.
I ended up getting a severe case of kidney stones, mid-flight, had to be put on an IV and spent the rest of the flight writhing around in agony on the floor in the back of the plane.
So a bit of room for improvement, you might say.

Oh, sweetie-I’ve had kidney stones 3 times and cannot imagine going through that pain on top of the misery of an international flight. You are a very strong person!

Thank you! It was pretty awful, I was just laying there on the floor and it hurt so bad I actually thought I was going to die, and I wasn’t even that upset about it, I was kind of like, well at least it won’t hurt anymore. It all worked out though!
